Favourite Books?

Post by Nitz13 on Sun Oct 05, 2008 10:04 pm

While I don't read for fun( judging by sitsky's poll niether do you lot either) there have been a few books that I absolutely loved.

Enders Game. Holy shit Shocked this was an amazing book about space and war. I finished this book like a fat kid all over a smarty thats how good I thought it was. The rest of the series takes a little getting into.

Harry Potter. Ok seriously who hasn't read this series? I'll admit I started to lose interest because it took so bloody long between books. Nonetheless a great read for all.

The Night They Stole The Stanley Cup - Basically an enitre series by Roy Mcgregor on a small town hockey team and its various advventures. I can't for the life of me remember the actualy series name at the moment.

haha yeah Orson Scott Card was a genius at writing these books they were so immersive.

I love the whole "war games" simulation thing they did sound so cool.
did you actually keep on reading the rest of the series? I found the 2nd book to be quite slow at the start.

I haven't read the book in a long time so things are a bit hazy.

I loved all of Dan Browns stuff. LotR was good, albeit wordy. I liked the Kite Runner. Those are the big ones that come to mind, though there are tons of books that I like.

I never completely answered but I love Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand.
Bioshock was based off of it. What a Face
